Meet Ronna
Ronna Kit, RSW, Registered Social Worker
​Ronna completed her Bachelor of Social Work degree at the University of Victoria in 2012 and is in good standing as a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the BC Association of Social Workers (BCASW).
Ronna continues her education with a focus on:
-Childhood Anxiety + ADHD
-Emotion Focused Therapy
-Emotion Focused Couples Therapy +
-San'yas Anti-Racism Indigenous Cultural Safety Training Program: Core Mental Health
Ronna is a trusted and empathetic practitioner living, working, and creating safe, supportive spaces on the traditional and unceded lands of the Snuneymuxw First Nation (Nanaimo). As an uninvited guest, Ronna honors the land and community where she was raised—on beautiful Vancouver Island.
Outside of work, Ronna is often found at home with her family (including the furry ones) or cheering from the sidelines at local sporting events. A parent of two boys and a committed partner.
Ronna has personal experience of childhood trauma, navigating parenting through neurodiversity, divorce, + blended family formation.
Ronna brings over 15 years professional experience supporting children, youth, and families as a Social Worker and a variety of other roles. Ronna is skilled in connecting with children and youth related to emotional + behavioral related concerns. Ronna’s practice is rooted in the belief that the well-being of children must always remain at the heart of family work.
Ronna wholeheartedly believes that by addressing deeply rooted patterns and embracing change, families can make space for healing, resilience, and meaningful connection.
