Counselling

Rooted in connection and growing together

At Deeply Rooted, we will walk with you to explore behavior, changing family dynamics and attachment challenges as communication.

Children work incredibly hard to get through their days

They move between homes, classrooms, friendships, expectations, transitions, and environments that don't always fit the way they experience the world. They navigate big deep feelings, sensory experiences, relationships, and demands that can exceed their capacity.

And often, what we see at the end of the day, is the part that feels the hardest: the power struggle, the refusal, the tears, the reactions that do not match the situation, and the moments when everything seems to become a struggle.

I will guide you to look beyond those moments

My goal for every child I work with is for them to truly feel seen, and honoured for who they are and how they show up, not who we think they should be.

Together, we will be curious about what their environments are asking of them, and what support might help them feel safe, and connected.

And we'll make space for you, too.

Child + Family Counselling

A safe place to land, just as you are

Every child has their own way of communicating, connecting and making sense of the world.

Some children need space to talk. Others connect through play, art, movement or simply having
someone be with them.

I spend intentional time getting to know your child, their interests, strengths and the things that make them who they are.

Whether they're navigating worries, friendships, confidence, big emotions or changes at home, we will work at their pace and in a way that feels comfortable for them.

And when it makes sense, we'll bring you into the conversation, too. Because understanding and supporting your child is something we can do together.

Neurodiversity + Emotional Regulation

There's always more to the story than the behaviour

The meltdowns, the bedtime sleep struggles, the big reactions to seemingly small things. It can be hard to understand what's happening, especially when you've tried everything you can think of. And the reassurance I can give you, is that behaviour is always telling us something. I work with children, youth and families navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, sensory differences, emotional regulation and other neurodivergent experiences.

Together, we will look for clues about what's happening beneath the surface.

What feels overwhelming? What helps your child feel safe? What might they be trying to communicate? The key is to understand your child's needs, recognizing their strengths and finding practical ways to support them at home, at school and in everyday life.

Parent + Caregiver Support

The power struggles, big feelings, bedtime battles, transitions and moments when you're not sure what to try next. Parenting is overwhelming. I am here to listen, help you make sense of the tricky moments and explore practical ways to better understand your child's needs, strengthen your connection and find what works for your family.

Separation + Divorce Support

Separation, divorce, co-parenting + blended families can bring a lot of change and uncertainty for everyone involved. Together, we'll navigate difficult conversations, support your children through transitions and explore ways to make new routines and family dynamics feel a little easier, while keeping your children's needs at the centre.

Families can change and still be a place of love, connection and belonging.
